Pierre Germain, learn more about the artist
Born in 1967 in Clamecy, Pierre Germain is a self-taught sculptor whose entire life is dedicated to art and creation. For him, the act of creating takes precedence over know-how, which is merely its servant. A professor at ASPT, lecturer, and performer, he shares his passion in schools and businesses, notably at Eurocopter in Marignane. His bronze work depicts human figures imbued with poetry, strength, and everyday life: wrestlers, workers, women waiting, thinkers. After exhibiting in numerous galleries and salons in France, he opened his own gallery in Aix-en-Provence, then in Beaune. His studio is a place of transmission and memory, where each sculpture bears the trace of gesture and time.
