Aline Jansen

Aline Jansen, learn more about the artist

Aline Jansen develops what she calls "mental landscapes": interior spaces blending drawing, matter, painting, and photographic fragments. Her work breaks free from the boundaries between figuration and abstraction to better explore a free, poetic, and profoundly contemporary visual language. Trained at the Beaux-Arts de Montpellier and in art history, she has been exhibiting in museums in France and Germany since the age of 21. Through her works, she invites the viewer to enter a sensitive, timeless universe conducive to contemplation. Each canvas becomes a place of intimate resonance, where reality is deconstructed to allow a personal narrative to emerge, carried by light, silence, and a gentle spirituality.
