Anne Gaëlle Arnaud reveals in her works the hidden side, in our memory, of the places we love or admire. She has always painted. Although she studied ceramics at the Beaux-Arts de Vallauris, abstract painting came to her naturally, through a love of color and composition. This direct relationship with powerful landscapes led her to paint motifs inspired by this universe. Cézanne, Matisse, Nicolas de Staël… all felt the magnetic force of the Côte d'Azur. Anne-Gaëlle captures it, transforms it into paintings vibrant with energy. A sailboat becomes a red flame, an abstraction becomes a symphony of colors. Her paintings tend towards feeling, emotion, an overall impression. An interior, intimate pictorial space… infinitely free.
